Members of Emerg were grateful to have the opportunity to honor and remember both the members of 460 Squadron RAAF and all those that fell during the war. Beckingham RALLY

We’re looking forward to seeing traders and visitors at our rally in a few days time at Beckingham Village Hall, Beckingham, near Gainsborough! The following exhibitors (listed in alphabetical order) have indicated in advance that they will be present:

Although this is first and foremost a radio and electronics event, don’t forget that it is possible to camp on site the night before the rally, should you be making a long journey to reach us, as some club members intend to camp on site overnight. more...

Beckingham RALLY

Following the successful rally yesterday, members of EMERG have unanimously agreed to continue to build on previous years events and hold our second rally this year. VE Day 80th Anniversary

The group was fortunate to be able to socialise and celebrate V.E. Day over the 4 days, 8th-11th May, at former RAF Binbrook by kind permission of the landowner. A number of members camped on site, enjoying the peace and quiet, with a very enjoyable BBQ on V.E. Day itself. We also did some radio, operating on HF (mostly 40m SSB) and VHF 2m, and were delighted to talk to some other stations also celebrating the 80th anniversary of V.E. Day. 57 contacts were made using the special event call GB1BK, mostly on 40m SSB, and a further 35 on 2m FM using the club call M0VBK, which was used for the first time by Chris, 2E0BMA.
